3rd and 20th

Today is the day The #HT40 Foundation turns three - the same day HT40 would have turned 20. Twenty makes us wonder what could have been. Three reminds us of what’s possible. Both of those things are something to cherish.

In Haydes’ years he accomplished a lot – made a big impact on the people who knew him. Same thing is already true for #HT40.

What’s different now though, is it’s not one person’s story anymore, it’s all of ours.

Through the #HT40 Foundation and Shoulder Check, we’ve touched too many people to count with a simple request – to be there for one another. It’s what Haydes did and it’s what #HT40 will continue to do.

While we’ve done so much this past year, it’s what we’ll do together in the years ahead that fills the room with optimism. All of what is still possible, drawing inspiration not from what could have been, but from someone that was genuine and true.

But instead of talking about what we’ve done, let’s talk about what’s possible when we do this together.

How about the biggest Shoulder Check Showcase yet this July at Sacred Heart University? Yup - this July 30th.

What about the first Shoulder Check Sound Check concert? That would be cool. Who wants to help?

New partnerships that bring the idea to life in new and unexpected places? Yes, please.

Fresh attire for everyone to rep the idea? In the works.

Schools across the country? Growing by the day.

Grassroots activations? Already over 100 on the calendar before Spring.

New ways to check in? The brief is already written.

New Shoulder Check team members? Job spec is ready to go out.

All of this for the sake of inspiring and enabling even more people to reach out, check in and make contact with one another.
